Voluntary coverage continues to be popular with employers and employees despite economic pressures
Inflation has had relatively little impact on employees’ willingness to pay for many of their benefits, and employers expect that trend to continue in the next few years, according to a new study from Eastbridge Consulting Group. Eastbridge’s Employer Size and Industry Demographics for the Voluntary/Worksite Market – MarketVision™ — The Employer Viewpoint© study shows more than two-thirds of employers found participation in their voluntary benefits plans increased or didn’t change in the past two years of inflation. Firms with fewer than 50 employees are the most likely size to say inflation hasn’t affected voluntary enrollment, while employers in the personal services and financial/insurance/real estate sectors are significantly more likely than other employers to say enrollment grew during inflation.
